Dora "Dody" A. McLeod
March 21, 1918 - March 31, 2012
Beloved Mother and Grandmother Foxborough – Dora A. “Dody” (Stahl) McLeod, age 94, died peacefully Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Ethel H. (Knight) Stahl.
Dody was born on March 21, 1918 in Belmont. She was a graduate of Hyde Park High School, Class of 1935. She and her late husband Lewis J. McLeod were married on December 6, 1940 in Hyde Park.
Dody and her family moved to Foxborough in September, 1946. They lived and co-operated the MGM Gardens on Main Street selling poultry, eggs and vegetables. They were active in the Foxborough Grange and Rambling Riders. Their horse drawn hay rides were enjoyed by many.
Dody worked at the Doolittle Home in Foxborough for several years and later was an export clerk for the Foxboro Company.
Loving wife of the late Lewis J. McLeod. Devoted mother of Joyce McLeod of E. Providence, RI and Warren and his wife Linda McLeod of Freemont, NH. Beloved grandmother of Beth McFarlane, Amanda McLeod and Sarah McLeod. Great grandmother of Kimberley and Cassandra McLeod and Serena McFarlane. She was the sister of late George W. Jr., John W. and Franklin W. Stahl.
